What is Eurovent Certification and why does it matter?

Eurovent Certita Certification is one of Europe’s leading independent testing and certification organizations. Its role is to verify that HVAC products – such as air handling units – truly perform according to their declared specifications and the requirements of European standards.

The Purpose of Eurovent Certification

The Eurovent Certification programme provides transparent and verified information about the real performance of air handling units and other HVAC products. It is an independent, voluntary system designed to confirm that a product performs exactly as declared by its manufacturer. For designers, consultants, and end users, Eurovent Certification enables objective comparison between units and simplifies the selection of the most efficient and suitable solution for each project.

Why Eurovent Certification Matters

Although Eurovent Certification is voluntary, an increasing number of manufacturers participate. It is widely regarded as the most credible way to demonstrate compliance with European and international standards.

Eurovent certification of our MultiPlex 2 air handling units

The Airvent MultiPlex 2 modular air handling unit has successfully passed the independent Eurovent Certita Certification process in accordance with EN 1886 and EN 13053 standards. As part of the evaluation, the Airvent configuration software was also tested, confirming that every performance value generated for customers is based on verified and certified data. The certification is renewed annually through independent reassessment, ensuring that performance and energy data remain continuously validated.
