András Mikó appointed managing director at Airvent

Airvent’s executive board has appointed Mr. András Mikó as managing director, starting January 2021. András will oversee and lead all of Airvent’s operations in order to further increase our partners’ satisfaction with Airvent’s products and services. The main objective in strengthening the management team is to advance Airvent’s success by growing our market share and overall presence on the global HVAC market.

András was CEO at Lindab Hungary for 15 years, leading them to become the market leader for the ventilation business unit in Hungary. Furthermore, he was the head of the sales divisions for both Romanian and Czech subsidiaries for 3-3 years. As a result, Lindab gained significant market shares in all three countries. Prior to joining Lindab, he was responsible for the successful introduction of Fläkt (Woods) HVAC products at ABB Hungary.

One of András’s main goals is to fortify Airvent’s presence and reputation as a professional company on both the international scene and the Hungarian ventilation market, by combining his leadership and management skills gained at companies of Swedish heritage, with Airvent’s culture and its ability to innovate.
