Description

The RB type sound attenuator was designed to fit rectangular ducts. The attenuator was developed specifically to reduce noise in certain octave bands primarily in ventilating, and air conditioning systems. The RB attenuator comes in a wide range of configurations and is available for either exterior or interior applications.

Dimensions

The RB silencer is available in several standard sizes, making it easy to fit into rectangular duct systems. The product can be manufactured with different baffle thicknesses, taking into account the desired sound attenuation performance and pressure loss.

Materials and finish

The silencer is made of galvanized steel sheet. The sound absorbing core of the baffles is a highly efficient rock wool insulation material, laminated, with a cleanable surface. The material is A1 non-combustible according to EN 13501-1 and has excellent acoustic properties, while meeting the durability and hygiene requirements expected in air conditioning systems.
