The IRIS is a regulator and measuring valve with which stepless the intensity of the airflow can be regulated. It is adjusted with a screw on the edge of the damper, which can be used to change the opening cross-section. The control plates of the damper form a measuring flange and are equipped with measuring stubs on both sides. The volume flow can be determined by calculation from the pressure difference that can be measured with an instrument on the measuring stubs.
It enables a measurement accuracy of ±7%.
Pressure drop: 30-250 Pa
The damper connection stubs are fitted with rubber seals, it is classified in the "C" airtightness class.
The regulator is made of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel, the measuring socket material Santoprene rubber.
The connecting pieces are equipped with EPDM rubber gasket.
