Description and function

The TED/TEDO is a circular supply air diffuser with an aesthetic minimalistic design, mounted directly in a ceiling or wall. It is ideal for residential or office applications where smaller airflows are required. The unit features a thoughtfully designed higher-profile cone, which positions the air slot opening further from the ceiling or wall, effectively avoiding the commonly known dust ring effect around the diffuser.

TED/TEDO consists of a slightly tapered casing with a circular air connection and front diffuser plate positioned at the bottom opening. The front plate is rotatable and can be manually set, adjusting the slot height for the required airflow. The standard TED has a built-in deflector plate ensuring a unidirectional air diffusion pattern, while TEDO is designed for applications where a 3-way air distribution is required. The diffuser shall be connected directly to an air duct system. Recommended max. ∆t: - 10 °C

Materials

TED/TEDO: The front diffuser plate and the side panel is made of sheet steel. The unit is powder coated in standard RAL 9003 white colour, and has a sealing on the air connection. The RAM-TED type frame is galvanised steel.
