PET and PETI type rectangular ceiling diffusers and exhaust diffusers for installation in false ceilings are suitable for the supply and exhaust of large air volumes. The devices have a perforated front panel and a circular, rubber-sealed connection, ensuring the appropriate air tightness and connection quality.
The front panel used as an air supply element is usually connected to the airduct via a TK type commissioning box. The commissioning box contains a cleanable, removable control valve and a built-in measuring element, which allows for the precise adjustment and monitoring of the air volume. The measurement and control operations are facilitated by the silicone measuring tubes leading to the front panel and the cords used to move the control element. A detailed technical description of the PET-TK control box is available on the Airvent website.
PET and PETI units can also be used without a control box; in this case, the air volume is controlled by a butterfly valve built into the connecting duct section.
In the case of the PET version, the size of the front panel varies depending on the diameter of the connection which is why it is primarily recommended for monolithic suspended ceilings. In contrast, the external dimensions of the front surface of the PETI version are uniformly 595x595 mm, so it can be optimally used in both monolithic and cassette suspended ceiling systems.
The PET/PETI diffusers are ideal for ventilating comfort rooms where draught-free operation at low noise levels is important, such as offices, schools, retail stores, hospitals, and restaurants. For cooling applications, the recommended maximum temperature difference between the room air and the supply air is -10°C.
