The KC is a semi-circular displacement ventilation diffuser designed for floor and corner-mounted installation, suitable for various applications such as offices, restaurants, production halls, and public spaces that require good comfort ventilation. With its low induction properties and lower Δt between supply air and room temperature, the diffuser efficiently delivers a large volume of low-velocity air directly to the occupied zone without causing draughts. The KC features a perforated front grille with a discreet quarter-circle design and and a back section plenum with fixed internal air deflectors, ensuring uniform air distribution across the entire front surface area. The unit includes a top-mounted circular duct connection for easy integration into various ventilation systems.
Displacement ventilation systems offer significantly higher ventilation efficiency compared to mixed systems, particularly in high-ceiling spaces and larger interior areas. The heat removed from the room is directly proportional to the temperature difference between the supply and extract air. In displacement ventilation, the exhaust air temperature is always higher than the room temperature in the occupied zone, unlike in mixed ventilation where the extract air temperature is nearly equal to that of the room temperature. This means displacement ventilation can save energy and make more efficient use of external cooling energy sources due to the relatively low Δt. The recommended temperature difference (∆t) is -3 to -6°C.
The KC displacement unit is suitable for various applications such as offices, restaurants, production halls, and public spaces, especially in locations with high ceilings. The KC should be installed close to the floor to deliver air directly to the occupied zone. Special consideration must be given to the room characteristics, including the placement of radiators, doors, cold walls, windows admitting significant sunlight, and occupants.
The KC is available in six sizes with circular duct connections ranging from Ø100 to 315 mm.
90 - 740 m³/h (25-200 l/s)
The external casing, front perforated panel, and internal air deflectors are constructed from galvanized steel. All visible parts are powder-coated in standard white RAL9003 color. Accessories are also made from powder-coated galvanized steel in standard white RAL9003 color.
