Description

The RBF is a ceiling-mounted slot diffuser designed for both supply and extract air applications. They are available in 1, 2, 3 and 4-row designs.

The aluminium blades integrated into the diffuser frame are arranged in 500 mm modules depending on the overall length. Each module can be individually adjusted from below, enabling multi-directional discharge even in single-row designs. The discharge direction can be set from horizontal to vertical.

For non-standard lengths, the blade modules may differ from the standard 500 mm units as follows:

• below 500 mm, the blades are produced as a single unit per row,
• between 500 mm and 1350 mm, two equal-size units per row,
• from 1350 mm to 1500 mm, two 500 mm units and one unit of the remaining size.

Slot diffusers longer than 1500 mm can be assembled from serial elements. The optimal division is determined using Airvent’s Selector dimensioning tool.

Applications

RBF slot diffusers are suitable for rooms with ceiling heights between 2,75 and 3,9 m. They provide comfort ventilation with low noise levels in offices, lecture halls, classrooms, hotels, hospitals, retail spaces and restaurants.

Materials and finish

• RBF: The diffuser consists of an extruded aluminium frame, blades and end caps. Standard finish: white powder coating (RAL 9003). Optional finishes: anodised or natural aluminium.
• RDS: Made of galvanised steel. Sound insulation consists of surface-treated, 100% recycled, hypoallergenic and hydrophobic PET. Available without regulator or without both regulator and insulation. The box includes air distribution plates to ensure even airflow. Regulator versions include an integrated airflow damper allowing adjustment without removing the front panel. The number of connections depends on the length and number of rows of the RBF.
